Describe the bug
When I have a map open and try to run it via the Run Map dialog, if I do it via the normal mode panel, then everything works, but if I use the expert mode panel (even one of the dropdown presets), then postcompiler breaks with an unknown Windows error after vbsp runs, and the map doesn't finish compiling. This happens reliably, and on every map I've tried, including ones I have created and decompiled Portal 2 maps. I would include a video, but my screen recording software is broken at the moment.
To Reproduce
- Launch Hammer
- Open a map (any map)
- Open Run Map dialog via File menu or F9
- Switch to Expert mode and select any preset from the dropdown
- Press "Go" button;
postcompiler fails
- Switch to Normal mode and press "OK" button
- Compilation succeeds as normal
Issue Map
Any map
Expected Behavior
Using either the normal or expert panel should let the map compile fine
Operating System
Fedora Linux 43, KDE Plasma, Wayland
