Xcept Health

Everything starts with an exception

Inspired by the concept of an exception in Python that mechanism which refuses to let a system collapse when faced with the unexpected, which intercepts, analyzes, and acts with precision where everything seemed blocked. Xcept Health was born from that same logic, applied to healthcare.

Our mission

Access to quality healthcare should not be the exception. We build open source AI and digital health tools designed for resource-limited environments. Our priority is Africa, but our tools are built to be useful wherever needs are great and resources are scarce.

What we build

Every Xcept Health project is born from a real need, observed in the field. Our solutions are lightweight, deployable on modest hardware, usable with limited connectivity, and documented to be owned by local communities. Explore our public repositories and stay tuned, we keep building.

Why contribute

Every contribution is an exception raised against health inequality. Join a community of developers, clinicians and researchers building the MedTech of tomorrow.
